Anwendung

N-(2-Ethoxyphenyl)-N'-(4-ethylphenyl)-ethendiamin ist eine polare Substanz mit geringer Flüchtigkeit und guter thermischer Stabilität. Es verfärbt sich nicht bei Kontakt mit Metallionen und ist besonders wirksam unter kurzwelliger UV-Strahlung. Daher wird es häufig als Aufheller und Stabilisator für UV-härtende Systeme eingesetzt.
