Anwendung

Es kann als stationäre Lösung für die Gaschromatographie und als Lösungsmittel für wasserbasierte Beschichtungen und Filmbildner für Tinten, Duftstofffixierer, Tintenglättungsmittel, antiseptische Bakterizide für medizinische Anwendungen, Reinigungsmittel für Elektronik und Mittel zur Trocknungsverzögerung von Tinten verwendet werden. Weitere Anwendungsgebiete sind: Organische Synthese, Fungizid, Insektenschutzmittel, Bindemittel, Duftstoffretentionsmittel, Weichmacher. Stationäre Lösung für die Gaschromatographie (maximale Temperatur 70 °C, Lösungsmittel: Ether).
